Three days of the magic of Disney.
On Sunday we went to the Magic Kingdom. This is the iconic Disney Park
and we loved it, as always. The highlight was the parade, but with all the
rides and characters around it was non-stop magic.
On Monday we went to Epcot. This was also really good, although very
different with its emphasis on technology and the environment. One of our
favourite rides here was called the Sum of All Thrills where you can ‘design
your own roller-coaster’ and then sit in a simulator which acts it out.
Tuesday was Hollywood Studios day. This is a great park, full of the
magic of film and, again, some great rides (like the Rock and Roller Coaster
and the Tower of Terror. It’s the shows that really steal the limelight here
with great musicals (we enjoyed Beauty and the Beast) and behind the scenes
shows that demonstrate how Indiana Jones and driving stunts are performed. The
Toy Story ride – a 3-D shooting ride, is brilliant – and I got the highest
score that hour!
